The Exhibition of Sri Chinmoy's weightlifting machines

Public screening of the documentary film Challenging Impossibility

The exhibition Lifting Up the World with a Oneness-Heart, a travelling museum of the specially constructed lifting machines used by Sri Chinmoy, is displayed at the Expo tent, náměstí Jana Palacha, Prague 1 from May 28th to June 8th from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The exhibit is accompanied by a public screening of the short documentary film Challenging Impossibility, which chronicles Sri Chinmoy's weightlifting odyssey.  It will be screened at the Municipal Library of Prague, Marianské náměstí, Prague 1 on May 29th and June 4th at 7 p.m.

The exhibition takes place in cooperation with the Town District Prague 1 under the patronage of the Deputy of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Josef Dobeš as a part of cultural events organized on the occasion of the European Year for Active Aging and Solidarity among Generations 2012. An honorary patron of the exhibition is the legendary Czechoslovakian bodybuilder Pavol Jablonický. Both the exhibit and the film screening examine the hidden unlimited potential of the human body and spirit and attempt to inspire all generation of citizens, irrespective of age, to rekindle hope and to continue to pursue their social activities and personal goals.
